CAMERA PACKAGE

These are some of the photographic tools that come with me. Different or specialized cameras, lenses and rigging can be rented quickly and locally to supplement this kit as desired.

LENSES

Glass is the most important element in the camera system, so I have a wide variety of lenses new and old, from extremely wide to extremely long focal lengths, including a full set of beautiful Zeiss primes. I love these babies and I’m always adding more to the team.

ARRI ALEXA CLASSIC

My dream camera, the peak of digital cinema perfection IMO. Its big, heavy, and makes the most beautiful image I have ever seen. Chances are your favourite movie was shot on the Alexa sensor.

The Alexa classic shoots Prores 444 in 2k resolution. It can record up to 120 frames per second.

The Canon C100

The C100 is a documentary workhorse. It produces a beautiful 1080p image with the world famous Canon colour science, particularly renowned for its rendition of skin tones. The camera’s extremely efficient compression means file sizes are small, so I can shoot for days on end without needing terabytes of storage and yet the image is clean and can handle color grading. It has XLR ins for quality sound recording and shoots in up to 60 frames per second.

With a pair of these colour-matched coverage is a snap.

VHS

While it is possible to emulate the VHS look digitally, there is nothing quite like shooting on the real thing. Standard def, square format, random distortions, and unique gamma and colour profiles. Integrate genuine VHS footage into your movie for that unmistakable look.

DRONE - DJI MINI

This nimble little drone gets you aerial views and epic dollies and jibs over the city or the landscape. This particular drone is technically a hobby drone, which makes it plausible to fly gorilla style. Its essentially a flying GoPro. Shoots 4k.

GoPro 9

This go anywhere, attach to anything, underwater action camera is great for special shots that cant be captured with full size cameras. It’s also awesome for time-lapses and super wide angle coverage of performances.

Delica

My van takes me and my gear anywhere on-road or off. I can sleep in it, shoot out of it, charge batteries and stay warm in it. Its my dream car and a fantastic production vehicle.
